This morning we started the day off right by watching Endeavor launch. Then we re-watched it over and over again chanting the countdown.
Thunderstorms rolled through our neighborhood. We snuck outside when we could. We found this flower in one of our excursions. While the rain fell and the thunder shook the house, Reuben examined it then drew it. Then we folded paper boats.
When the storm moved on we were out the door, paper boat in hand. It floated wonderfully. I love how beautiful the earth is after a powerful storm.

You are talented in so many ways, Katy!
I enjoy participating in your adventures with Reuben and Miriam on your blog.
If I was a kid, I would want Reuben's life.
You are a great Mom. What interesting adventures Reuben and Miriam have. BTW, Miriam's hair looks cute!
I love how toddlers imitate their mommies. Reuben chose to draw the flower rather than some other toddler thing. Lydia always gets up to the piano and starts talking like me and using musical words she has picked up while I'm teaching lessons. It's fun!
I thought of Grandpa Cummings (Reuben's great grandfather) as soon as I saw Reuben fascinated by the shuttle launch. So much still to be discovered and invented by young, bright minds.
