One of my favorite illustrators is Sam Weber who happens to be married to another favorite illustrator Jillian Tamaki. The other day I saw that Sam Weber was recently commissioned to make a new cover for Ender's Game. Isn't this a perfect Ender?

for some reason, I always pictured him as a brunette? I just finished Ender in Exhile. I need to read the original again, though.
This is pretty much how I pictured him, maybe a little shorter. I have had Speaker for the Dead on my nightstand for weeks, and it's almost due back at the library, time to get on that one...
I like that he appears young and frail--that's how I pictured him. I guess I did picture him quite as "pretty", maybe more average looking.
Funny how we can read the same book and all get different images. I always picture Ender pasty white since he spends his whole life shut inside training
I pictured him as a brunette as well. Sometimes I wish there was some kind of camera you could use to see how people envision certain scenes in books so you could compare it with your own.
