I'm working on a project for my mom which involves painting about a half dozen super heros on a sheet as a back drop. I've got Batman, Superman, Spiderman, Ironman, and I'm holding a spot for a strong female but I'm having a hard time deciding who should get the place. I guess Cat Woman is the most known but I think she looks too much like Batman. I'm partial to Rogue and Storm of the Xmen but I'm not sure how well they're known. I always thought Wonder Woman was kind of lame and has a stupid costume. I could make it easy on myself and do the Invisible Woman. (That's a joke) A lot of the ladies I mentioned belong to teams so it seems a bit odd to represent them alone. I don't want to do the after thought female counter part to some better known male super hero like Super Girl - yuck. So I'm looking for advice. Who do you think is the best female super hero?

I'm partial to ElastiGirl, but I guess she's part of a team too.
I also like Storm and Rogue...and the kids are the ones who will be looking at the backdrop the most...

Hello?! SHE-RA!!! Princess of Power! Or perhaps you're too young to know who she is. *sigh.* I LOVED her. They need to bring back those cartoons. I know she's not as recognizable as say, Wonder Woman, but she's definitely the superest of the super heros.
my favorite was storm from x-woman! Rogue just looks like a normal lady wearing spandex even though I know she's got cool powers. It is kinda weird to have her w/o the team, though. Why only ONE girl spot??

1. Shera is not an actual super hero b/c she's not in a comic book.

3. Wonder Woman- most recognizable and can do pretty much anything Super Man, can knock anything away with her wristbands and wield her lasso of truth-- despite her outfit.
