War and Peace

I've started reading War and Peace and I'm really enjoying it so far. Tolstoy is becoming one of my favorite writers. One of the perks of liking Tolstoy is that when I really enjoy a book I find myself wishing it would never end. Tolstoy seems to have appreciated that sentiment as his books have a habit of going on and on. I can read 500 pages and know I have that much more ahead of me to enjoy.
Isn't this a great picture? I hope I can someday convince Aaron to grow a beard like that.

I took a speed reading course last year and finished War and Peace in 20 minutes. It concerns Russia.

Sorry I gave away the ending.

I am having fun reading (listening on tape) to Don Quoxtie. It seemed impossibly long but listening to it on tape has been fun. I have actually laughed out loud occassionally. I don't know if I am ready to take on war and peace, but I agree, when I find an author I like, I don't want the book to end.

I've been surprised at how much humor is in War and Peace too. It's made me laugh out loud several times too.
