We took Miriam to church for the first time. Before we relieved her of her Sunday dress we took a few more 1 month pictures. She smiled a little for the pictures but she smiled a lot more once we got her out of her very pretty dress. She's a girl after my own heart.
Reuben is alive and well too. He lives for the bike rides he goes on with his dad. He's also lately figured out how to count to ten. Everything in our house is being numbered, over and over again in a kind of repetitive Reuben inventory. I feel like I'm living with the Count from Sesame Street.

I'm amazed how different Miriam can look from one picture to the next.
Dressing up is not my favorite either, but that dress is awfully cute, just like the little girl in it!
Reuben doesn't go halfway...
my she has such dark hair. sorry i've been so derelict. i've seen your emails and will respond some day...i don't know how you manage to stay on top of so many things!
but you will be happy to know that i've started reading again. i just tore through "play it as it lays" by joan didian. i can't really explain why, but i really liked it. i love when i just happen to read a book at the right time. it just resonates for whatever reason.
anyway, i better run. i'm taking william and a few of his friends to the park to "practice" soccer. wish you were here with me. i don't know a lot about soccer...
