I heard on the news today that the temp hit a new record high at 102. With the help of his dad, Reuben found some relief in a local stream. Here's how things happened.

What's the biggest stick I can find? I'll throw it in the water.

No point in leaving the rest of me dry. There are rocks in here that need to be moved! Splashes to be made!

I don't know how you guys survive without A/C. Reuben has the right idea.
We have recently acquired some window units and some fans that make life a lot cooler. It's still not central a/c, but it's a lot cooler than it has been outside.
You guys know how to have real fun:) I wish NM had more water and streams! They have many of these "arroyos" to catch the water running off the roads when it does rain, but most of the time, they are dry and dusty and dry. I am glad to hear you have some air circulation.
Glad to hear he's feeling better. He and A. would get along swimmingly. That's right up his alley.
