The Good Wife

I am happy to see Aaron, but I don't think I do anything else on this list. Rarely do I remember "his topics of conversation are more important than mine" or that I "have no right to question him." I am SO GRATEFUL for the feminist movement.

I find some of those "tips" offensive. Who ARE THESE PEOPLE who wrote this and what drugs were they on?!! I hope they eventually got some self respect.

Amen! Thank goodness for the bra burners!

I think I have an original clipping of this that my grandmother saved in her scrapbook. Hilarious! I wonder how many people actually behaved this way.

Not that there's anything wrong with giving your spouse a nice welcome home - but it shouldn't be because you believe he's more important than you and it's your place to do nothing but serve him. Blech.

Where's the Good Husband's guide?

Also, according to www.snopes.com this is a fake. http://www.snopes.com/language/document/goodwife.asp

Hah ha, thanks Adam. Whether it is fake as a composite or of "undetermined" origin, it isn't too far from some choice selections Aaron and I snagged from the shelved remains of the Cummings bookstore a few years ago.

Absolutely, it's only funny (or sad) because we can see people saying/believing that way.

That is so unfair! I feel so sorry for the wives of the 1950s. When I marry I'll love my husband, but not that much!!

Hmm, interesting about Snopes! I could swear I've seen the original of this, or maybe just one very similar to it.
