Aaron decided to test my scriptural knowledge with a little pictionary trivia at church today. I had so much fun guessing I thought maybe some of you might too. I particularly enjoyed how Aaron's selections almost all involve a weapon of some type. I'll post the answers in the comments.
1.

Having trouble? Don't worry, I was too. I thought it was a girl in a skirt playing croquet. Aaron was kind and gave me a few more clues.

3.

4.

5.

6.

7.

8.

I couldn't let have Aaron have all the drawing fun so I did two as well.

gospel pictionary! how fun! steve and i were less creative and used to play gospel hang-man.
Some of those are quite obscure references. I missed 3-5 and 8 and 9. :( Nice jaw bone, though.
What a great idea. Grandpa Buzz was able to keep us entertained through sacrament meetings (which seemed very long in those days) with his drawings. But you all make it "gospel focused"!
My favorite one was 8 - potiphar's wife. Hahaa. So funny.
We used to play gospel pictionary for family night. Usually with primary songs or hymns. It was fun.
I think 8 is funny too. I pointed out that it is supposed to be Joseph's jacket but Aaron said the pants made it more dramatic. Such an artistic temperament!
I suck at pictionary. I missed almost 100%. Anyway, we have a new post on our blog! Very brief post but it is a post nonetheless. We're bad bloggers.
So fun! Eric and I both guessed. We got them all except 3 (Eric thought it was the Sword of Laban) and 5. I love your first vision sketch Katy.
Um, i thought number 1 was one of the Lamanites that lost an arm to Ammon....because if you look closely, he only has one arm. Weird.
I looked at it again...it looks like one arm and blood spewing out where there was an arm, with an axe in the background. Nice work Aaron.
Good Guesses to all who tried!
Marlo - I can see the "spurting blood" arm in #1. It makes me think of the Black Knight from Monty Python.
Great art always has so much room for interpretation.
That's a great game! I got all except #5 and #7, and I still don't get #5. Way to include the too-often-overlooked speckled sheep.
I'm late to the party, but these are hilarious.
He should have done Isaiah getting a she-bear to attack 42 children for teasing him about his baldness. That's a great one. (2 Kings 2)
