I mentioned I set a few goals this new year. They're all great goals, goals I have set before, a few of them I have noticed are goals I set every year and will probably set again next year since by next December I will no longer be even trying to accomplish them. This has led me to wonder when it is that my and other's resolve slips away. Is it the end of winter that melts our resolve? The joy of spring that banishes our anxieties? Our the busy-ness of summer travel? If you're like me I really don't think I make it farther than February. Here's a list of the goals I have that I am still working on. We'll see when they die:
1. 4 sets of 10 push ups, 4 sets of 25 sit ups every day
2. Work out six times a week
3. Draw for one hour a day
4. Improve my Spanish
5. Write in my journal every day
6. Pray every night
7. Appreciate the nice things Aaron does for me
8. Ride my bike to work when possible
9. Be nice - don't laugh, it's a challenge.
10. Keep to the budget

zKaty, Loved, loved, LOVED your comment on fmh. And I'm linking to your blog. I'd like to get to know you better.
I like #9.
I didn't know you were on FMH. Now that place is even better! :)
Great goals, btw.
Again, I'm so impressed - 10 goals even though you regularly lose your resolve! I lose mine so fast that I let it discourage me so I don't ever set goals, and certainly not resolutions. That way I can be proud if something does get accomplished. It's backward, but, well, you know.
He he, it may look impressive but I think I started with 20. Another goal was/is to eat the leftovers. It is not a fun goal.
I just want to know...is that YOUR bike in the snow?
Wait, you blog daily AND write in your journal daily? Isn't that redundant?
